Chips are Tasty but unhealthy for Your Body


Chips are good. They can be used as a snack or even a meal, lol. Because it is so tasty and addicting, you can really accumulate a lot of calories in one sitting. A whole bag of potato chips contains 1,217 calories. THAT IS A LOT OF CALORIES for just one bag. Now, you're asking yourself, but what if I don't consume the whole bag?

They’re highly processed and often so low in fat that you can consume large quantities without ever feeling full. This can increase blood sugar and cause an insulin surge, promoting fat storage.

Well, people end up indulging in chips. See, chips, are addictive. You can eat, eat, and eat on them, and seemingly not able to get full. 


Studies have shown that eating salt triggers the release of dopamine, a chemical messenger that controls your brain's pleasure center. Once your brain gets that first reward hit, it starts craving more - along with fats that chips contain.


Chips are typically served salted or flavored, giving them a high sodium content. Too much sodium can cause various health issues, like increased blood pressure and heart disease.



There are no benefits of chips, to be honest.

It has empty calories. Providing the Human Body with no type of nourishment other than the calories to survive. Chips have no essential or vital nutrients or micronutrients in order to nourish our bodies in a healthy way. This is how many people end up gaining weight - due to indulging in empty calories or junk foods.

Trans fat are found within chips. If you're a user who excessively consumes chips on a daily basis - be careful due to the high trans fat and sodium content. This can really affect your health.


I'd Advise you to Stay away, avoid, and refrain from eating chips. But if you can't resist, keep it in moderation. Eat it once a week, not indulging, in moderation. This will allow you to stay healthy while not going insane.

- Fruits

- Greek yogurt/yogurt

- Veggies

- Veggie Chips

- Vegan Options

- Peppers

- Healthy Fats

- Dark Chocolate

- Hummus

- Avocado

- Seaweed

- Oatmeal

- Eggs

- Berries

Any food that has a high nutritional profile is good and healthy for your body. 


Typically junk food contains an excessive amount of fats, carbs, sodium, and other junk and additives.

Healthy foods contain a variety of nutrients & nutrition to help detox, cleanse, and nourish the body. Nutritious foods will help with strength, power, stamina, endurance, overall performance, optimized recovery, sleep, stress, and much more.

Junk, processed foods cause inflammation causing weight gain/loss issues, insulin issues, sleeping, mental health, performance, etc issues. Overall, eating poorly will affect the body and health greatly.


You're wanting to strive for foods that are high in nutrients, but also low-moderate calorie content. Anything with high-calorie content, make sure it's not addicting because you can overeat them. 


Cleaner, healthier foods are much harder to overeat. Simply due to the fact that it has more nutritional contents within, therefore, satisfying the body better.

Ultimately - Eating chips and similar fried, fatty foods can lead to an unhealthy diet, resulting in weight gain and negative effects on your health.
