Calories
Calories are the main objective that you must focus on when it comes to losing weight. If you eat too much, you'll be in a calorie surplus; so you need to do the opposite, and eat less; decrease your food consumption on a daily basis - on a weekly basis - until you see weight loss occurrence. [and focus on exercising!]
Nutrition is the quality of the food that you should be striving for. The healthier the foods, the better-looking body, and the easier the process of losing fat will be.
Proteins, fats, and carbs are part of the nutrition aspect. But, that's the simplest form of 'nutrition.' There are also micronutrients which are a bit more complex and better when it comes to overall health; but today's topic, is about calories, macros, and calorie deficit.
Okay, now on to the fat-loss method.
When it comes to losing fat, many people have issues with CARBS mostly. Carb-related junk food is the main issue. Sodas, chips, candies, fast food, fries, and processed-junk food contains a lot of calories, carbs, sugars, oils, and fat. Which lots of people end up indulging in - on a daily basis - which ultimately leads to the fat accumulation - making you gain weight and becoming overweight/obese.
If you were to avoid and/or completely get rid of "carb-related-junk-foods" you'll notice a huge change in your physique, health, and weight loss. This is because you aren't providing your body with poor nutrients that'll lead to a poor-looking body; so when you avoid junk foods, it's time to strive for healthy foods.
Vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts, seeds, healthy sources of proteins, fats, and carbs are needed for a good-looking body. Along with a calorie deficit, that is the recipe for fat loss!
A calorie deficit will automatically place you or anyone into a weight loss protocol. Because, prior to your journey, you were excessively consuming food/calories, and now, you need to do a reversal and slowly taper down your calorie intake in order to shock the body to promote weight loss. Along with this, you should always eat healthily.
Eating healthy doesn't only nourish the body, but it helps with everything. Healthy foods detox the body, helps the cells move around, push blood flow, improve gut health which helps with fat loss, and it improves your metabolism and insulin, therefore, making the efficiency of fat loss much easier and more effective to go about.
When you're eating poorly all the time, it'll be very difficult to promote and lose the fat because you don't have the necessary nutrients in order to help detox the body and get rid of the toxins.
Hopefully, you're still with me; you now understand that food is important, and that you must take it serious in order to live life healthily, and to have a good functioning body.
Everyone's different when it comes to their "diets." Have you noticed, that I didn't include the word, "Diet?" That is because, when it comes to losing fat, the diet isn't what is helping you - it is the foods that you've eliminated or removed in order to start losing weight. And, you're consuming fewer calories due to restricting foods/removing foods from your life, therefore, it's the calorie deficit and proper eating that promotes weight loss.
Here's my advice and recommendations:
Eat foods that are low in calories, but high in protein. High protein meals take longer and more energy to break down, therefore, making you burn fat throughout the day. Just a small percentage that can potentially help.
Secondly, focus on high-quality nutrition; Your vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, berries, etc are all-powerful foods that'll nourish, heal, and get rid of toxins within the body.
Thirdly, track your calories. Examine your food intake, be wise about how much you're eating throughout the day, and stop eating when not hungry. Don't indulge when not hungry - don't go for junk foods - strive for healthy foods.Your meals throughout the day should consist of veggies, healthy sources of proteins, fats, and carbs, well-balanced, not over the top with any carbs or fats, and have some variety within. Fruits, seeds, nuts, and berries are good snacks and they're very nutritional. Eat when full, not to the point of being stuffed.
Exercising can help aid in weight loss, along with a proper nutritional plan and calorie deficit; you'll lose weight, have a nice-lean physique and you'll feel on the top of the world. Feeling good, strong, and uplifting.
