Drinks Making You Fat - Without You Noticing It

Stop drinking calories

Drinking calories is bad. Certain beverages such as the ones with lots of sugar typically have around ~300-400 calories within. That is a whole lot of calories for a small thing.

Calories are found in foods and drinks. Water for example has 0 calories. Sodas, juices, teas, etc contain calories, along with all types and kinds of foods. Every food and drink contains different amounts of calories and nutrient profiles. Some drinks and foods may be healthy or unhealthy. By understanding what nutrition is, and what you're consuming, you can dictate whether to be healthy or not. Some people lack the nutritional aspect knowledge, so I can understand where you stand.

Drinking Your calories results in weight gain

> FATS TO AVOID for your Health
Ever wonder why you're overweight but have no clue? Are you one of those who think you don't eat a lot, so you have 0 clue why you're overweight? I know a lot of people like that - and let me tell ya - you guys don't take everything into account. Each and every food and drink item you consume (drink or eat) contains calories (other than water). So a SMALL can of soda counts, along with a small bag of chips, a couple of chips, a couple of candies, a slice of pastry item, or whatever the case may be - it contains calories. So over time, throughout the day, you're accumulating these calories, especially if you're sedentary or don't exercise, so at the end of the day, you've accumulated so many calories, it resulted in weight gain.

Sodas and junky drinks aren't beneficial, don't do them for hydration. Anyhow, if you're constantly drinking juices or sodas or frappe's from Starbucks or milkshakes or any of those sugary drinks, it'll make you fat.

See - A 12-ounce can of cola has about 8 teaspoons of sugar-which translates to about 130 calories. Sugary drinks do not fill you up as quickly as solid foods do, so it is easy to take in more calories than you really need.

So if you think about it, if you're one of those who eats a lot, snacking on food as well, and drinking sodas or juices for example - the calories quickly add up. AND THIS IS WHERE PEOPLE ARE STUCK. They think juices, sodas, and the little thing don't count. And Ya'll don't just drink 1 soda can, ya'll drink like 2, and another one in a couple of hours, etc etc.

How About Fruit Juice?

Fruits contain many important vitamins and other nutrients, but drinking too much fruit juice can add extra calories to your diet and can lead to weight gain.

A 12-ounce (360 ml) serving of orange juice has about 170 calories. If you are already getting enough calories from the other foods you eat, an extra 170 calories a day can add up to 12 to 15 pounds (5.4 to 6.75 kg) a year.

If you like to drink juice, consider diluting it with water. Try to limit juice to 8 ounces (240 ml) or less per day. Whole fruits are a better choice than fruit juices because they contain fiber and no added sugar.
