Maintaining weight can be easy. You must understand the importance of nutrition and overall health. Food affects us greatly without you even being aware. It provides nourishment, energy, and weight [& muscle] gain if consumed in a surplus.

In order to maintain a healthy weight, you need to avoid and cut out food that may make you gain weight.

Weight gain comes from a surplus of food consumption. When a person consumes lots of food, more than usual - this will place the person in a calorie surplus - which will make the individual gain weight. You're consuming more energy than you burn.

Whereas if you consume less than you burn, you'll be in a calorie deficit. Losing weight.


The key is; Knowing how much food to intake. 


Now, this is the hardest part. It's hard to determine how much to eat, and when to stop.

Usually, there are indicators. Do you feel hungry? Do you feel full? Are you actually hungry or bored? Are you having cravings or actually hungry? Did you see something on tv or actually hungry?


People, in general, eat just to eat. Because they're either bored, the food is tasty, or they're actually hungry.



I myself know when I am Actually Hungry vs when I have cravings or am bored.


If you set a proper eating routine; Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and perhaps snacks in between, you can avoid issues such as overeating (gaining weight) because you're eating properly.


People overconsume because food tastes great, they have no idea when to stop, they do not care, bordem, etc.

You are supposed to eat til you're satisfied. Not til you're stuffed and your stomach is about to explode.


Stuffing your face will ultimately lead to weight gain. Especially if the food is junk food. Junk food is not the way to go. It leads to malnourishment. We, humans, need a variety of sources of food in order to get all of the nutrients we need. One food source won't provide an adequate amount of proper nutrition.


Along with knowing how much food to intake - exercise can be useful.


Exercising burns energy which results in weight loss. A person whom is overweight or tends to eat a lot can benefit from exercising. Everyone knows that exercising is a requirement to keep the body healthy and strong; so if you were to neglect exercise, you're accumulating damage and weight gain over time...


Simple cardio or weightlifting sessions can help a ton! It'll keep the body healthy and strong. When exercising, you're utilizing the foods you've consumed. Utilizing energy that won't result in weight gain, but better yet - nourishing and developing a stronger durable body.

When you don't exercise, the food and nutrients won't be utilized, therefore, you may potentially gain weight, if in a calorie surplus. In addition, since you're sedentary, the nutrition aspect of the foods you've been consuming plays a huge role. Especially if you don't eat healthily. Poor junk foods lead to health complications such as diabetes, heart and organ issues, and so on. Poor nutrition is something that most people have; people neglect to eat healthily and regularly exercise. 



The Solution to all of this:

1) Eat healthily most of the time. 

2) Do not overeat - eat til satisfied - not stuffed/about to explode.

3) Exercise regularly - stay active - do not neglect Exercise! Simple cardio or weightlifting ~ 30 mins-1 hour.

4) Avoid junk food - sodas - excessive sugars 

5) Stay hydrated - water is best - herbal teas are good - coffee no lots of sugar is good as well.
