Losing Weight Fast IS BAD

Disadvantages of trying to Lose Weight Fast

Everyone wants to lose weight fast, but is it really possible without any consequences?

Yes, it is possible to lose weight fast but there are consequences. First off, you won't learn anything from losing weight really fast, and secondly, you may become malnourished because when trying to lose weight fast, you have to practically starve yourself so you'll become weak, brittle, and unhealthy. Thirdly, you may rebound - meaning, after your diet is done, you'll gain ALL the weight back simply because you're not on track anymore.

When it comes to losing weight, it's all about learning and experiencing the journey because it teaches you a lesson, a valuable lesson. Food is energy, food is fuel, not for enjoyment, but rather to provide your body with an abundance of energy to perform a certain task with ease, etc. On the other hand, people indulge in foods thinking it's fun and enjoyable to do so, and so that's why they're overweight; they don't care, nor realize how much they're eating.

If you're going to attempt to lose weight fast, I recommend doing the Keto diet.

Anyhow, losing weight fast has its downfalls.

You won't understand how food and calories and nutrition affect your body; You won't realize how much food impacts your weight and you won't realize the importance of nutrition, and the food aspect overall.

If you're going to lose weight fast, the improper way, you're at risk of malnourishment and becoming weak.

Food is important to understand because without knowledge, how do you proceed to become healthier? You must know the fundamentals of proper health management and care along with nutrition, exercise and etc.

By attempting to lose weight by starving, you will become malnourished. Lack of nutrients will impact the body severely. You're at risk of injuries and damage to the organs and muscles. You will become catabolic, meaning that you're going to lose muscle mass, strength, and density which makes you prone to lots of issues. Your mental and physical performance is hindered. You won't have a clear mentality, you won't be thinking right and you won't have the proper strength to do most activities.

The most effective way to lose weight is by tapering down your calories. A calorie deficit is all you need. No need to starve yourself for no reason. Sure, it'll be the fastest but unhealthiest way possible, but we're wanting to have longevity and live life healthily, so by reducing your food intake on a daily basis, you will promote weight loss. And perhaps diving into your macros in order to promote a much better weight loss process by altering your macros.

The rebound effect is real when someone diets to lose weight without gaining or learning anything from it. Rebound effects mean that you may gain weight after the diet journey simply because you're not on track anymore. This is because you forgot, don't care, are too lazy, and so forth. Remember why you've started this journey and stick with it.

After your diet journey is over, it is not completely over. You still should strive for healthy foods and exercise to maintain a healthy optimal body. Why not? Why diet, lose weight, and then rebound? Doesn't make sense to me. So, after you've dieted, you're wanting to stay on track still. Sure, you don't have to be 100% strict, but still, provide your body what it needs and wants. Healthy foods, exercise, and proper care.
