Rebounded After Dieting? Here's the Solution!

How to Not Rebound After Dieting - After Losing Weight

So many people have this issue, when you diet and lose weight but somehow the weight/fat comes back on, they're lost and confused and no idea what to do next. Continue to Diet? But won't the rebound effect happen again? Why is this happening though even when I've dieted?

The answer is simple. Habits. Your habits are dictating weight gain because you're not aware of what you're doing. This is called, Mindful Eating or being Mindful in general. Food is fuel, not for fun nor enjoyment but sure, enjoy the food, the taste, but use it as fuel. Many people don't realize how much food they're consuming. Drinks especially. Sodas, Frappe's, Coffee, Boba, etc, all contain loads of sugar and calories which results in weight gain. Especially if you snack throughout the day and have (Meals), that is a lot of calories at the end of the day that you're consuming. You must be aware of your food consumption. Your habits must be controlled. Don't indulge in junk food, don't neglect healthy foods. These are habits. You must have Discipline. Strive for healthy foods and maintain that type of lifestyle to continue to stay lean.

Discipline is the key. Many people indulge and don't realize it. After you've dieted down to your weight goal, now it is to maintain that. You must always prioritize your nutrition to combat weight gain. If you eat healthily, it is much harder to gain weight because these calories are clean and they nourish the body rather than having junk food accumulate into fat gain.

People rebound because they simply do not care in my opinion about what they do when it comes to their health or food consumption. If you stay strict and really focus on staying lean, you won't have an issue rebounding. Rebounds happen simply due to the fact that you aren't on track nor more.

A simple solution to dieting and maintaining a physique is to track your calories. Use Myfitnesspal/Chronometer to track your food intake. This is important because you can track your food and dictate whether if you should eat more, less, or stop and this is helpful when dieting because you control what you eat, rather than letting food consume you...

Remember, food is fuel. Eat when hungry; not when sad. Food is health, health is wealth, and if you neglect wealthy foods, you'll become poor, dead, malnourished.
