What is Aesthetics:
Aesthetics, or esthetics, is a branch of philosophy that deals with the nature of beauty and taste, as well as the philosophy of art.
In Fitness, there are several categories to define someone's physique. For instance, we have; Mass monsters, Aesthetics, and normal physiques. Aesthetics has become very popular among fitness people. It shows true hard work ethic, determination, and skill. It takes a master crafter (bodybuilder) to become aesthetic or to develop his/her physique dramatically to the point where people are beyond impressed. It does require patience and lots of sacrifices. Diet and nutrition must be on point as well as training..
Real Definition:
Aesthetic physique
An aesthetic body is a dense, hard, and well-defined natural physique with broad shoulders, a square masculine chest, rock hard arms, a slim waist, and athletic legs with minimal body fat.
Muscle insertions, muscle bellies, how muscular you are - the way your frame looks - all define the AESTHETICS of your physique. Everyone has their own unique physique style and flow. Typically, when it comes to obtaining an aesthetic physique, you must train the proper muscles to have this "aesthetic illusion." A well rounded muscular body with a nice V tapered midsection with nice dense full muscle bellies.
Aesthetics is art; bodybuilding or muscle-building is art. You're carving your physique into something that you want. An Aesthetic physique is a nice well-rounded physique with low body fat % to showcase your muscle definition. Typically, someone who has an aesthetic physique has: Nice rounded Shoulders, a well-tapered midsection with ABS, nice defined arms, back, and chest. Essentially you're wanting to look like you have a beach body. This is what men mostly want - that beach body. Nice arms, chest, abs, and overall nice physique.
Whereas a mass monster is focused on MASS; being big, and being muscular. But of course, they have abs, nice definition as well, but they're too "big" to be "Aesthetic."
Look at the bodybuilders today, For example, Chris Bumstead has a nice aesthetic classic physique.
He is a Champion in his division. This is a true example of what AESTHETICS MEAN. He trains his physique in a way where he can obtain an aesthetic physique - he focuses on the main points of becoming aesthetic. There's no special way or special program to follow, it's about knowing how to develop a physique the right way (dieting, nutrition, workout, etc).
By developing an aesthetic physique, it shows the people your hard work ethic and determination in order to achieve that type of physique. It's really hard to transform any physique, but especially an aesthetic physique because you must have low body fat, along with abs, along with nice muscle bellies. You can see the muscle popping, full and 3d-ish look. Someone who has no nice-looking muscle bellies isn't considered aesthetic.
Meaning, you probably have more fat than muscle. Being aesthetic requires being muscular, or having matured nicely developed muscles. Thus comes from training over the months and years. Average people do not have a nice rounded physique. Sure, some skinny people may have abs, but they're skinny, not built with muscle. They're basically bones and little amount of muscle. Not to knock on you, but that's not aesthetic. That's called being a scrawny boy. LOL.
The aesthetic physique is really popular across the globe. I believe it's the most appealing type of physique. For example, I believe Zyzz set the blaze at the start. Zyzz has developed a greek god physique (an aesthetic physique) which many many people idolized and looked up to. I myself did as well. I looked up to zyzz because his physique stood out.
Maintaining an aesthetic physique is quite hard. You must be knowledgeable in manipulating physiques, manipulating calories, nutrients and you must have a proper protocol and if not, you won't have a proper "aesthetic" physique.
