However, most gamers do not participate outside of their gaming world. They're literally stuck on a chair, playing video games, not receiving any sun rays, and completely ignoring nutrition and exercise for the human body's health. The outcome won't look good, as you won't notice until it's late into the harmful effects of staying sedentary.

Since the person is gaming 24/7, and not properly nourishing the body - the body is accumulating toxic calories, nutrients, chemicals, and other things - which leads to becoming obese, developing diabetes, heart complications, and so on...The list is huge.

At least 30~ minutes of exercise is needed
All you really need to do to stay healthy is to exercise for about ~30 minutes to an hour a day. Do this for about 3/4x a week - on a weekly basis - along with eating right and healthily, the human body will thank you and stay strong and healthy.
Any type of exercise/workout will do the job. Weightlifting, cardio, jogging, running, cycling, swimming, etc. The key is - becoming active.
Without exercise, your body will begin to decrease in mass, strength, and power. Leaving you vulnerable to all kinds of health issues such as muscle loss, bone density is decreased, immune and mental issues, and so on.
People may end up obese or anorexic due to a sedentary lifestyle.
Simple education around taking breaks, stretching, eating healthy snacks, and resting and icing your thumb, wrist, or elbow when it starts hurting can address injuries early, before they become significant. For the eyes, gamers can try the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, try to look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Nutrition for a healthy body
Do not consume sugary drinks like sodas, and eat unhealthily [junk food] throughout the day on a daily basis. This will result in becoming obese and developing other health issues.
No fast food, no chips, candies, pastries, cookies, etc. (Especially if you excessively consume these on a daily)
Nourish the body with REAL FOODS. You will nourish and cleanse the body with the real foods you go about.
The human body needs healthy foods - nutritious foods to nourish the body in a proper manner.
Vegetables, fruits, nuts/seeds/berries, and healthy sources of fats, proteins, and carbs.
Do not excessively eat. Do not indulge in junk Food. Do not starve yourself nor eat to the point of becoming sick.
Controlling your eating habits should be in place. Proper meal portions are the way to go. Have an array of foods to receive a variety source of nutrients to properly nourish the body.
Have a set routine, so you can stay on track to remain healthy.
No drugs, alcohol, or anything of that sort because that'll lead to a dangerous path - especially if your mindset is not great.
In short, playing video games can be fun and a social activity when integrated into a healthy lifestyle that includes plenty of sleep, exercise, and good nutrition, rather than letting the game become your life.
