How to Add on Muscle-Mass

HOW TO GROW YOUR MUSCLE MASS

When it comes to adding mass, you need to eat! Eat to grow! Growing comes from the food aspect and working out aspect. When you go work out, you're causing damage to the muscle, and then afterward, you eat to refuel and to nourish yourself. The most important thing when it comes to adding MASS is to increase your food intake or your calorie intake. Calories are food, food is calories. Almost everything contains calories, but I wouldn't recommend just eating anything and everything in sight because first off, that is unhealthy and second off, you're going to cause issues for your health in the long term.

Adding mass means you must increase your calorie intake, known as a bulk. When you bulk, everything is being increased. Your food intake, your workout intensity, and thus will increase your chances of growing more because if you were to eat in a calorie deficit to maintain a shredded physique, you won't grow [big] because of your calorie intake is too low for all of that. When you increase your calories, you can increase your workout intensity to provide more stimulation for more growth.

When it comes to eating, I would advise eating healthily as much as you can because there will be a lot of complications once you start indulging in junk food all the time. Your arteries will be clogged which will affect the heart and so forth. We want to minimize that as much as possible. And not to mention, diabetes can also develop due to a poor diet. So, when adding calories or bulking - make sure to consume veggies to offset the negative junk food as well as eating fruits, and healthy sources of proteins fats, and carbs. Fruits are also king when it comes to nourishing the body. Stay away from heavily processed junk foods, fast foods and sodas and sugary foods. Those will ultimately harm your health over time.

Now, when you're increasing your calorie intake, you have energy, more fuel, and more power. Thus, gives you an advantage in your workouts. You can now lift heavier with ease, you can go longer and your chances of getting hurt is very low compared to when you're shredded. The Human body is designed to have body fat - not to be super shredded all the time.

Take advantage of this bulk. Lift heavier, go intense, eat a lot, nourish your body in a positive way and be patient with your growth. It'll take a couple of weeks to a month or so to start acquiring the physique you're wanting. It's not an overnight thing; it's a journey.

Now, you can use supplements to aid in your bulking journey. Since, for many, and for me, it is hard for me to eat a lot of food and to keep that going, so I use protein supplements/powder in order to provide myself with more calories without the hassle of actually eating food. This is convenient and beneficial for me. If you want to check out my protein powder, check it here:

So in conclusion; You Now know How to add more "mass"

  • 1) Eat in a calorie surplus
  • 2) Increase your Workout intensity
  • 3) Nourish your body with healthy nutrients
  • 4) Recovery is key!

Don't neglect your recovery. Recovery is just as important as nutrition. If your recovery is hindered, you won't grow as efficiently.
