Lose Weight Before Building Muscle?

Should I lose Weight Before Building Muscle?

Fat Loss Tips - Bodybuilding (Muscle building) & Dieting Tips, Effective Strategies to combat weight loss. The goal is to optimize the whole body - your health.

When it comes to losing weight, exercise will promote weight loss. Due to utilizing energy, your body will slowly lose weight during and after your exercise sessions. However, today, we're going to discuss whether if you should lose weight before building muscle.

The primary goal of weight loss is to reduce your food intake, change your eating habits, and exercise. Exercise is a tool to aid in weight loss. The main function of weight gain and loss is by your food consumption.

When you consume too much food, you'll consume a whole lot of calories therefore, you will gain weight. Known as a calorie surplus.

Now the goal is to be in a deficit, a calorie deficit, to lose weight. This is done by consuming fewer foods throughout the day. So eat fewer than normal in order to achieve calorie deficit and stay with this process for days, weeks, and even months to see your desired goal.

That was a simple breakdown of how to lose weight and what steps are needed.

Dieting methods, eating healthier, using diet programs like keto, low carb, or even vegetarian diets are also beneficial for fat loss. A rapid fat loss I should say since keto and other diets focus on burning fat.

Now let's talk about Muscle.

Muscle is important. Muscle actually helps promote fat loss due it requires more energy, and sustains the mass overall, so as a result, your metabolism will be more effective to promote weight loss.

"Additionally, muscle tissue is metabolically more active and burns more calories than fat tissue. The more muscles you have, the bigger your resting energy expenditure, which means that your body burns more calories “while doing nothing”."

Working out Before Losing Weight

Exercise can increase metabolism, or how many calories you burn in a day. It can also help you maintain and increase lean body mass, which also helps increase number of calories you burn each day.

As I said earlier, you must change your mindset, perspective, and habits in order to achieve what you want.

Why Would you want to lose weight first, then exercise? You should be doing both, at the same time.

People think that they must get "fit" first in order to exercise...

How can you get fit if you aren't fit in the first place? Eating HEALTHIER doesn't mean you're going to get fit.

Getting fit requires movement, activity, exercise, and proper self-care. Proper nourishment, sleep, exercise and recovery..

So my best advice is to

  • Exercise during and after and stay consistent with your exercises.
  • Exercises help tone the body and muscles - making you sexier, and it helps burn off fat.
  • Exercises also improve the body overall, making you healthier and stronger and able to resist illnesses, etc.

Neglecting Exercise Is a Big Mistake

Why do you think most of the people in America are overweight? Video games, netflix, movies, shows, youube, etc, and the food consumption -- the excessive indulgence in junk and processed foods and most importantly -- the lack of exercise.

When you combine all of those negative things, bad outcomes will come.

Becoming overweight, obese, malnourished skinny, etc.

By exercising, you will help with the weight loss journey and overall it'll be harder to gain the weight back.

Rich Diet and Exercise Promotes Better Metabolism

When you eat poorly, your metabolism will be ruined. Therefore, hormones and other elements won't work properly so as a result, you get sick and become fat and/or skinny. Each person is different. Anyhow, metabolism is important for fat loss.

Amount of physical activity – hard-working muscles need plenty of energy to burn. Regular exercise increases muscle mass and teaches the body to burn kilojoules at a faster rate, even when at rest.

The physiological process of fat loss occurs when fats are liberated from adipocytes into circulation to supply the needed energy. Nutrition supplements that increase fat metabolism, impair fat absorption, increase weight loss, and increase fat oxidation during exercise are known as fat burners.

People who do not exercise tend to have depression, anxiety, and other illnesses that other people don't. Maybe even sleeping issues, migraines, etc. The performance will be impacted for sure.

The Goal at the end of the day is to lose weight. Exercise, proper diet and nutrition, and self-care is all you need. Calorie deficit, exercise, and consistency will help you achieve your goals when it comes to losing weight and/or gaining weight.
