My Best Way To Lose Weight

Intermittent Fasting!

Intermittent Fasting is one of the most effective way to lose weight.

Intermittent fasting refers to an eating cycle that includes periods of fasting of around 12–36 hours. Many proponents of intermittent fasting report improved weight management.

Intermittent fasting to benefits including:

  • weight loss
  • improved markers of health
  • a reduced risk of chronic health conditions
  • improved brain health

How Does Intermittent Fasting Work:

It works by, you not consuming any calories; foods and beverages. When you’re not consuming foods, your body needs energy, and from the foods, we consume that’s how we get fuel, however, when we are fasting, your body will use its resources to gain energy which in the end results in weight loss…You’re burning fat while you’re just not eating anything. Your body uses fat as energy rather than carbohydrates from foods. The typical fast should be between 16:8.

16:8 Fasting Period

16:8 is the norm of the intermittent fasting regime; 16 hours without eating, 8 hours with eating, but of course you are not eating for 8 hours straight…There are many many benefits of fasting. One of them is the detox phase. When you’re fasting, your body is essentially cleansing itself – getting rid of those nasty nutrients and bacteria, etc. You can consume some beverages, however, but take in mind about what you may add to those beverages.

Coffee and Tea’s During Intermittent Fasting

Considering Black Coffee and some teas have no calories, it’s safe to consume for its benefits. Coffee provides a stimulant as well as teas, but teas aren’t as powerful as coffee. These are the only two things you may consume during your fasting period. DO not add in any creamer, sugars, etc! It’ll ruin the fast!

Dry Fast vs Water Fast

If you’re wanting to get the best result, I’d recommend dry fasting. Dry fasting is when you’re absolutely not consuming any type of beverage; you’re dry from the insides. This’ll help detox the body, burn fat, and heal the body, but this is rather extreme for some because some people need foods for energy balance, etc. Water fast is when you’re consuming water, teas and/or coffee to help your body out with fluids, energy balance, and hydration. This will also improve health, detox, etc, but dry fasting is more effective in this case.

How Often Should You Intermittent Fast:

I fast every day from the time I hit the bed, which is around 11PM til approx~ 1-2Pm in the afternoon. During the fast, I drink mostly black coffee to help enhance my fat burning process. It doesn’t matter how often you do it, just when you feel like it. If you are wanting to get shredded, lean and wanting to maintain that, perhaps intermittent fasting is ideal for you, in this case.

What To Eat After Intermittent Fasting:

Since you have fasted for a long long time, during that time, your body has depleted it’s vitamins and minerals, loss of nutrients, etc, so it’s ideal to consume foods that are high and rich in vitamins, minerals, nutrients, etc. Fruits and vegetables are great examples of high and rich nutrients, vitamins and minerals. This will help ensure you’re receiving the beneficial nutrients to help health and nourish the body. I wouldn’t recommend eating a pizza or diving into fast foods after a long fast; You’re wanting to nourish your body, mind, and muscles with beneficial nutrients afterward!

Who Can Benefit from intermittent Fasting:

  • Athletes
  • Normal People
  • Overweight people
  • People who excessively eats
  • People who want to improve their health (gut, mind, health/healing, etc)
  • Wheelchair / disable people
  • People who want to maintain a shredded physique
  • People who want to lose fat easily
  • Anyone

Why Intermittent Fasting is So Effective:

When you’re in a phase where you cannot consume calories, your body will use its own fat as fuel, resulting in fat loss…
This is similar to a calorie deficit, and sometimes people may enter the calorie deficit phase when trying to go about intermittent fasting. When your body is low on food, it’ll start using up its own fat and muscles to provide your body energy. Note: Do not fast for a long long long time, your muscles will begin to deteriorate over time.
It detoxes the body from harmful nutrients, etc.
Intermittent fasting may drive weight loss by lowering insulin levels. The body breaks down carbohydrates into glucose, which cells use for energy or convert into fat and store for later use
