Tips for Younger People with Osteogenesis Imperfecta
Hi, my name is Tommy & I have type 3 Osteogenesis imperfecta. When I was a kid, I broke a lot. As a result, I had tons of issues today, as an adult. If I were to go back in time, I would change a lot of things that I did back then because I reget what I've done. So, if you have Oi and reading this, listen to the video posted above, I give out some good tips on how to stay and be healthy as a kid with Oi. I know how difficult it is to remain calm, healthy and strong while having Oi. Oi won't go away nor will it get better with age; only you can define yourself strong and healthy if you approach it the right way. That is by taking care of yourself, knowing your limits and how to cope with your condition. For me, when I was a kid, I did not care of my health or my condition - I regret that NOW, but I was a kid back then so it didn't matter to me all that much other than if I were to fracture, I'd be depressed and out of it. If you like the video, please share! I'd love to see people improving themselves, and getting better. I was once very fragile, delicate and depressed and now I'm glowing, shredded, muscular & strong!
